Windows Tip: Annotating web content with JumpKnowledge
I appreciate hearing from readers with cool tips. Here's a recent submission. Please note that I haven't tested it yet, so it's presented "as is".
In my recent tip Annotating Web Content I described how I use my Tablet PC to download Web content from the Internet and mark it up with Ink. Reader Yaakov Sash responded that he has developed a free Web-based service called JumpKnowledge (JKN) that allows you to annotate any Web page. JKN is a cool service in which your comments automatically displace the underlying text, so nothing of the original page is obscured and your comments can be read in the context of the original article.
To illustrate the power of this service, Yaakov went ahead and annotated my original article here. JKN is definitely something worth evaluating if you frequently do research online and need to annotate Web pages for future reference.
I always appreciate getting reader recommendations like this, so feel free to email me if you have any others.
