Telecommuting security concerns grow

As the number of telecommuters increases in the corporate environment, the 650-employee Pennsylvania State Employee Credit Union, as well as larger companies such as Aurora Health Care and Kettering Medical Center Network, are among those that have embraced home PC standards, required telecommuters to use secure VPN connections and deployed security software to deal with portable mass-storage devices.
